Print Collateral | Promotional Product | Social Media
For the Spring Branch location grand opening of Handies Douzo, my role was to design and create a suite of opening collateral including a custom tote bag, poster, exterior window vinyl, and a social media animation. The goal was to capture the spirit of Handies Douzo while creating engaging, eye-catching visuals through color and layout. Working within the brand’s clean design direction, I focused on maintaining simplicity while introducing bold, modern elements that would resonate with a contemporary audience and build excitement for the new location.
Tote Bag
For the tote bag, the objective was to design a location-specific piece for the new Spring Branch opening, released as a limited run for the first 75 customers. The illustration drew inspiration from the iconic Handies Douzo exterior sign, using a hand-drawn, textured brush style while keeping the layout clean and intentional to stay cohesive with the overall brand. The use of the vibrant brand yellow added a bold, playful element that brought energy to the design while maintaining Handies Douzo’s modern, minimal aesthetic.
